Anyone think a how to section on making edibles,concentrates, or other cannabis confections/creations would be cool? Just a thought.:p

yesterday I decided to make a firecracker, but instead of cheese or peanut butter on a cracker I used nutella on an oreo. Needless to say it was delicious and got me nicely baked for a few hours.

Directions:

1. Grind bud, preferably with a grinder or give it a fine chop with scissors. (The more surface area touching the nutella the better.)

2. Pre-heat the oven to 320*F

3. Open oreo and spread Nutella on both sides. (or Nutella on one and PB on the other)

4. Spread the bud evenly on the two halves. Once again, the more surface area of bud touching the fatty substance (Nut,PB) the better. So try to spread it out evenly.

5. Place cookie back together and "seal" the edges with the nutella/pb with your tongue or a wet finger.

6. Wrap in foil

7. Place in preheated oven and cook for 22-25 minutes. I cooked mine for 23 minutes then turned the oven off and let it sit in the oven for another 2 minutes. I think next time I will turn the oven off after 25 minutes and let it sit for another 5.

Make sure the temperature is 320F, too much higher (like 340) will vape the bud.

This is probably the quickest way to make an edible without making cannabutter.

I think a how-two section would be cool. There is plenty of "how-to" stuff online that we all can find pretty easily however, so maybe it could the kind of thing that we all give our experience with different methods of doing things.

Interesting recipe GenOver. Did the bud taste come through much? Why would you cook it longer next time?

The bud taste was great with the chocolate; I find that the taste of thc comes across somewhat minty at times and this was intensified when paired with the chocolate. I enjoy the taste of strong cannabutter, so this was very light in comparison with Goo Balls I've eaten in the past. I would cook it longer because I felt like for the amount of bud I put on it the thc flavor should have been stronger. Then again it worked pretty damn well with only 25 minutes...though the recipe I adapted the above from said to microwave (15sec), Oven (22min), Microwave (15 more seconds) so I skipped the microwave and just kept it in the oven a little longer.


Muter: The above smelt of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies / brownies. There was way more cookie and nutella so those two elements were the predominant scent. You could even bake some non-canna versions ,they were very tasty, just make sure you mark them or something, haha..I actually baked this in my brothers house and he doesn't smoke / sometimes doesn't even want to smell it and even he said it smelled of fresh baked cookies.

thanks dude! i dont think ill be making any non cannabis firecrackers, buut tommorrow i think im going to throw the rest of my oil and budder and kief into one or two fire crackers. hope this works!

Np, with budder and kief I would probably just do 22 minutes, turn off the oven, then sit for 2-5 minutes in the oven. I used ground bud, so having already concentrated thc/cbd it may take a shorter amount of time to get the same effect considering you could just let the budder and/or kief sit in some yougurt or any other fatty substance and eat it and it would get you fucked. The heat just expedites the extraction process.

By the way: I did this with some mids...which barely constituted for mids and it gave me a nice buzz. If you have never ingested cannabis then don't go all out. Consuming cannabis can produce much stronger effects with a lot less product then you would smoke. I might be preaching to the choir, but I've heard budder is pretty strong shit, so I figured I would put that out there. Take that advice as you will. Most people recommend .5 (headies) per firecracker.With .5 budder + keif you should get properly fucked man... Eating too much cannabis can be as intense as a strong shroom trip, that's if you don't pass out first. There is a delicate balance between getting high and passing out and it can be hard to measure when you are eating cannabis...I've found this out on a few occasions. None the less Enjoy...the worst that will happen is you take a nice nap.

My budder firecracks will have to wait but once i collect some more kief im definitely going to test that out. ive only ever eaten brownies once and i had a mellow body high but thats about it

Hey GenerationOverdone, every time I try to make fire crackers they never work,is there something I might be missing? Also you know you can make BHO with mid grade/swag in a small glass bowl and when all the butane evaporates you can add some coconut oil into the bowl. Next gently heat the bowl until you can mix the BHO with the coconut oil. Finally use in baking goods,cook with it(use gentle heat or an oil with a higher boiling point),or my personal favorite: fill some small capsules with your oil mixture and you have thc pills. You can always use premo bud or what not but I don't get much around here anymore so I save my good stuff.lol
Lastly thanks guys for even considering my thread. Most people just dismiss me as I'm not able to be online 24/7 due to my work but take care and toke on!
