Someone posted a question that I cannot seem to find right now asking why it said "Junior Member" under their name when they had been a member of MR for months.

"Junior Member" refers to how long/how many posts you have on teh forum.

I'll be changing the titles people get and how long it takes to get them tonight.

Any suggestions?

Judge the titles on like +Rep for good post's, helpful information, and stuff like that. I think that would be pretty cool.

This forum is new. I don't think it carries over from Chubbs' other sites. So, all of us are starting from scratch when it pertains to this site.

If the 2 were the same the username would have carried over aswell.

MR runs on Wordpress, a blogging software.

MR Forums run on Vbulletin, a forum software.

2 completely different back ends.

All of us are strating as "newbs" on teh forum.

I notice that on some forums they base your member level and permissions on the number of posts you have submitted. With no credit given for frivolous posts.
Example 25 posts and you get the privilege to start threads. 50 posts and you can join a group.. or whatever you get the point. It has got to be time consuming to manage that, unless Vbulliten does that four you once you set the parameters. Just a thought as I have seen that elsewhere.
