harvest time?

My man who's growing Berlin says he heard that the best time to harvest is when the tricomes are clear? Is this true? If so...I think it's harvest time!

I'd wait until 10-20% of tris are amber but whatever take a sample n dry it out if you think its ready then chop if not let her keep going

I've already got a sample. Potent stuff. You can see a pic in the Berlin thread. The plant is huge. Not sure why it's not more common given it's potency and how prolific it is.

I think clear resin heads are never good. I dont grow but I read a lot and ask a lot and I'm almost positive you wait until one of three things cloudy, milky, or amber?

Well I believe its total up to the grow when to harvest, But it all really depends on what kind effect you would like to get from this plant. I usually harvest when they are about any where from 30% to 60% amber. The more amber trichcomes the often means a better couch lock buzz. I have wait till all my trichcomes were amber think I would have some straight fire, but it did not work that way at all. It really kill off most of the flavor and even worse it just did not get me high at all.

That link covers it pretty well. I take mine just as they start to turn cloudy, maybe 30-40 %. If I see amber tichs, that sucker is coming out!

Thanks for the tips. My man's going on your recommendations and harvesting today (I think it's near 100% cloudy trichs...no amber). Might not reviewing anything other than Berlin for a *while* if it turns out well...which I believe it will. Here's what he e-mailed me: "I have been monitoring it very carefully and the trichomes are getting nice and cloudy but haven't started turning brown as yet. I have tried a few bowls and it is pretty damn good." I told him, based on what ya'll have said, that it's probably go-time.

Yes it is true i too harvest at the same time so you can also try because whenever i harvest in tris i get good result.

Man...dude just harvested most of the Berlin, but he's also got some Cotton Candy going. Tried an early sample at the beach today...pretty nice stuff. Very creeper.
