Ok, so I just left Tanders and his friend at the beach. We met up for an hour or so, had a beer, exchanged some herbs, etc. If you lined up a buncha people and then said "pick out the stoners", I think he and I would get picked last. Good people though. He's the *me* of 25 years ago.:cool: Wish we had more time, and the sun was out (it is here, 20mi away). Couldn't smoke together...just wasn't a good area, but looking forward to trying Blue Cheese, Fruit Loops, and Agent Orange. He left with mostly homegrows. White Rhino, Berlin and Cotton Candy...plus a little Cotton Candy Bubba and widowmaker joint. All of these have or will be reviewed here, so it'll be interesting getting comments from people who have smoked the exact same herbs. Calig will probably wind up smoking all these too, so it should be cool. If you think the Berlin sucks, don't be afraid to say so! (I'd be shocked if that were the case, but I gotta know). Be safe brother, and enjoy CA!

I made the mistake of eating a CC treat at about 8:00 when I was already falling asleep. By the time it kicked in I was asleep. Missed the whole buzz...until now. Now I need to read through the "latest pickup" thread to find which one of your three is the most sativa-ish so I can snap out of it. Glad to hear the Berlin worked. Must be 100% indica. Not really my favorite since it does knock me out, but obviously good for PM. Was I right about the pineapple-mango thing...and that it didn't come through when lit?

the densest bud was the one at the top of the jar, correct? If so that was the Fruit Loops, if it was the wild leafy one, you got the Blue Cheese. Either way they're both great, I'd just be careful with bud as strong as the FL, because it packs a hell of a punch

He'll be happy to hear. Yeah, I did the FL. It was dark, and I was pretty fried from last night(it *was* 5:00am), so I didn't really see it till just now. Might be the purplest bud I've seen. Very pretty. . SERIOUS herb for sure. I'm glad I only did one big hit. Can't wait to roll it up and see how it tastes...but it's gonna be when I've got a couple hours where I don't need to be too functionable.

I think I'm gonna go get a bunch of Blue Cough (although they have Skittles and Blue Dream x Pineapple Express that sound delicious.) for that reason. Have you tried the CCB? That definately has a different flavor.

The fruit loops is indica dom, Chubbs gave me a joint of Firewalker and told me I'd enjoy it more than the fruit loops, I was totally disappointed when a single bowl of the FL was more potent than his whole joint.

1st MR member to say that, out of the few (i think) that have met him, maybe "he" had "GUEST-SPEAKER JITTER"?!... 1st X i met him, he had just took over CPA, chill dude to me, but soon after, everytime I go to CPA, hes either there n must be in the back, so ill tell budtenders "let chubbs kno MR member TasK says HIGH" or ill "shoot" and email saying "im bringing in a MR member + new patient, maybe u could brake down NUGGETRY for (them), maybe get MR LOVE", but of course i wouldnt expect a email bak -_-, all GOOD, still IMHO i feel NUGGETRY is the best meds on this planet, same goes for MR... that being said, u plan on hitting up Calig's CYPHER session?.... im trying to get there..

Chubbs was really arrogant and full of himself on the panel, and didn't really listen to what the people had to say too much. He took one look at my Fruit Loops and dismissed it as nothing special and pulled out a joint of Firewalker OG and said "you should like this a lot more" which I thought was a pretty bold statement, but I really gave it a shot. I enjoyed the bud, it had a nice taste and everything, but my Fruit Loops was better, a lot better.

Now I'm not saying the weed wasn't good or that the N1 sample I saw later didn't look really nice, but I get stuff just as nice if not nicer on the east coast and provide it for a cheaper price. Chubbs has some good growers, but the NUGGETRY growers aren't the only people in California that can grow pot. The best stuff in California never makes it to dispensary, it gets shipped out east to people like me because they can get more money for the product that really is worth every penny.

I'm sorry, but Chubbs you really didn't live up to your super hyped expectations. I'd love for you to prove me wrong, but there isn't a thing different from NUGGETRY than street stuff other than the fact that you put your stamp on it. Well grown herb is well grown herb no matter where it comes from no matter where it's sold. You miss out on a lot of product and a lot of business conducting things in such a snobby manner, maybe it's really different at the dispensary, but finding you at the concert was not the experience I'd hoped it would have been.

Well...I can say this about the FL: I need to be in a *safe* place when I try it again. One hit at 5:00am sent my day into a different direction than planned. I only did one hit of the BC and AC too. So I can't do an honest & accurate assessment of the 3 yet, but intitial impressions are: BC: very nice. mellower than the others. AO: possibly stronger. I know I was laughing a little *too much* at America's Funniest Videos. FL: wild stuff. Might be densest bud (I had Chemdog that was similar) ever. Looks similar to Blackberry Kush and Blue Daddy that I've had. VERY pretty. A+ for sure...may go higher once I roll it up. I'll let you know!

a friend of mine took the exact same trip out west as you, tanders. a family member of his was an mmj patient so they went around sampling 'the best' cali had to offer. he was just as disappointed as you sound...

maybe you should head north next time :)

Everyone says they got the best but they haven't tried the rest. But yeah I agree with the it gets shipped out east thing. I get better buds here in Philly then I was in Cali. I just hate the prices on our side. old head wheez should start shippin product out here lol I'm down with 2800 for outdoor and 3600 for indoor.

I'm really down to Earth and open minded and I was really looking forward to trying to get myself involved legally out here somehow, but if the legal community is run by a bunch of stuck up snobs I'm no more home here than I am back in my out of place home-state.

Maybe I'll find the people I really need to work with some day, but for now I have to keep looking

I was out in Moreno Valley by March Air Reserve Base last weekend visting my buddy and we stopped at a collective, I picked up some Green Kandy, OG Kush, and LA Confidential.

All were fire, and got the 3 grams for 35$
All were like my BD and Sleeping Beauty, frosty and smelled wonderful.



Cali has lived up to my expectations Twice in a row now.
Great weed, Great price, EASY TO GET.

The reason that last part is in capitols is because thats my favorite part, you have a huge and great selection of sources to get it from. Shit I got offered some Bubble hash for 10 a Gram!! That shit NEVER happens in vegas, always some 25-30 bullshit. And weed out here is constantly 20$ a gram 50-65 a eighth 90-110 150-250- 280-360

Only time I get 10-15 Gs and 45 1/8ths is when its mids, with a faint smell or leafy or some stupid shit, GREAT deals dont come around often here, But it seemed like EVERYONE had a great deal out there.

Though I would think if a loyal MR member flew all the way from NJ to CA just for this smoke out thing and to meet Chubbs then the least Chubbs could do would be to spend five minutes with you to blaze a couple J's.

My trip didn't suck at all, however meeting Chubbs did. It was just more of a disappointment that the guy who runs such a great community of people is such a close minded jerk.

I was just hoping to really get myself involved in the legal industry and I thought meeting Chubbs might just be a good place to start, but I'd never be able to work with such a snobby guy.

So I guess from here on out I've just gotta meet the right people to get myself set up out west, because I can do things for the industry as a whole in a much more progressively forward stepping manner than Chubbs.
