so yesterday was hell. utter hell. i was going to post this thread then but i literally was so sick writing a damn forum thread was too exhausting.
until last thursday i had been taking adderol xr, various antidepressants, and trileptil. now im done with them, and of course the withdrawals are hellish. yesterday someone thought it would be funny to add in a stomach virus too, which really helped. basically this is what im feeling constantly now:
severe dizziness
brain shocks
nausea
rooms spinning
light flashes
severe headache (especially when i get up from laying down or whatever)
but most of all is the constant dizziness and brain shocks, which im not really too sure how to describe.
will pot help at all?? i was supposed to pick up some yesterday but obviously couldnt even get out of bed. i just dont want to waste my money and risk going out and about like this if i know tlc and relaxation are the only things thatll help.
also, being a mm forum, i figured a lot of you know exactly what im going through, and may offer some advice. all i know is that these symptoms will last a good week or two.

Marijuana will help with the symptoms, especially indicas in this situation. A good heavy body high is what your looking for. Any Sativa you might start smoking could increase the brain shocks, spinning and headaches from the cerebral high that it gives you (along with the up-lifting feeling). Whereas when smoking a good indica, you can feel immediatley relaxed in a state of comfort to control the dizziness and hot/light flashes. Since you're already laying down, pop in a bowl and smoke one for me. Don't rely on Marijuana if problems persist or get worse as the week goes on.

Best to not get serious medical advice here. How's Day 2? I do know that pot will help with opiate withdrawals. Not sure about the stuff you're taking. I'd make sure a real Dr knew what you were doing though.

I was once on adderal and antidepression meds and i quit cold turkey. Your withdrawls are from the adderal. If you stop cold turkey that's what happens, it'll pass within a few days. The antidepressants cold turkey will cause anxiety fear and depression in time if not stopped slowly. Smoking pot will definitely help, but make sure to stay away those heavy sativas for a while.

oddly enough i havent experienced the same withdrawals i got from vyvanse this time around. the dr actually said, to my surprise, to stop taking the adderol xr just cold. its really just the antidepressants and the trileptil that are making life a living hell..brain shocks and dizziness being the worst of the symptoms.
its day 6 now being off of everything. still feel the same, though. i havent been able to get a hold of any bud at all probably because my closest contacts all are being a bit hypocritical for some odd reason.

Im pretty sorry to hear about that. Im the type of person
who gets withdrawals from just about anything. When i quit
smoking bud i get chills, anxiety, panic attacks, nausea. And also,
not living in a mmj state so i understand the frustration from
dealers. Even mids would relax what your feeling, just make
sure not to smoke a sativa for a little till your symptoms reside.
Best of luck, let me know how its goin.

Herbal Tea, and TV.
Pot might help, it might not. With the brain shocks i'm hesitant to recommend any MJ for you. For one, I you will, I recommend indy heavy Hybrids.
If my nausea is in my head and not really bothering my stomach as much. Id need a sativa to give my head that feeling i'm looking for, but I know sometimes I'll get so dizzy in my head that it starts to go down, then come back up. Literally. And thats where My indica comes in, to balance that out. But If it's at all possible, maybe find an Edible with the strains of your choice. Smoking might be rough on you.

As far as staying off the anti-depressants I would recommend reading up on 5-HTP.
It naturally replenishes my Serotonin and one at night allows me to feel no anxiety the next day.
I could walk right up to a stranger and start a conversation, where normally my face would be dripping sweat and I would not know what to say. It's sort of as if my mind doesn't think twice about something that *could* go wrong usually associated with SAD.
Anyway, goodluck with staying off those ! Just remember the withdrawal is worse than the actual medicine!

Try a heavy hitting edible made with hash oil... That should help alleviate alot of your body aches. A THC-rich cannabis will help with migraines and dizziness(or should at least, I'm no doctor). Or try some TOP QUALITY wax or hash.
