I just tried it and it worked. Someone broke into a local warehouse and took 270(?) pot plants. Don't know whose they were, or if it was a legal grow, but I'm guessing not.

Never have taken anything that wasn't mine and never will. However, given that a large % of people *do*, and given the nature of this business, this is completely unsurprising. I mean, a neighboring business said: "yeah...the place smelled like weed." If it was illegal, these people are seriously stupid. If it was legal...well, they're still seriously stupid. One of my best friends is PD, so I'll probably find out the scoop. I'm sure the local market is about to be flooded with cheap weed though.

Not only cheap but probably premature at that. And thats why its really too bad. All that time and cash down the drain for some sub par stolen bud. Is it really worth it? NO, Karma will get them by the ten folds. And to whom that crop belonged to illegal or not just know what goes around comes around and if you get it once you'll get it twice.

For sure. I got ripped off back in the day. Just one plant, but it hurt because it was *mine*.I hunted the dude down and got it back. He took an immature plant, then tore it up and put in in a big baggie. Just useless. I suspect these plants may have been close to done, so they won't be totally useless, but it still sucks. And the scumbags will get theirs. Bank on it.

I'm looking at a house right now that the landlord said he doesn't mind if I use this seperate entrance 12' x 16' room with storage shelves on 1 wall and plenty of power going to it for my med grow. It's in a richie gated community with nieghbors on both sides(older people). And even as safe as this is, I'm still going to use carbon filters and not let anyone in the neighborhood know that's what I"m using it for. If no one knows it's there, they can't steal it.
The cool thing is, it's seperate from the main house, and locks, so I'll be legal when my niece moves in and possibly ny stepson.
You can't let people know where your stuff is....it won't be there long!

You know....you just described a side of this business that I'd never thought of, and one I have a serious problem with. Now, I know *you* are seriously cool/careful/etc., but let's say I live in such a neighborhood (but it could be *any* neighborhood), and let's say my closet neighbor, who *isn't* so cool/careful/etc, has such a grow in his basement that none of his neighbors know about. And lets say bad people *do* know. That puts the neighbors in a potentially dangerous situation that they'd be totally unprepared for.

Absolutely! It's like having a wild killer animal as a pet...your putting everyone around you in danger. I wouldn't want to live in an area where everyone is growing, and is "cool" about it...that's where most ripoffs happen.

Sounds like a good place for a set-up, although a separate building can get broken into without you ever knowing. I like making them have to come up some stairs with a 12 gauge waiting. :)
