Canadian medical marijuana

I was wondering if there is anyone up north here with a medical marijuana licence. I have some questions!

well they were pretty basic questions, but i mainly would like to find out the best way to go about it. I was in a car accident 2 years ago and have been using pot for pain, anxiety, and as a sleep aid since it happened. ive tried a few different meds before turning to pot but it is honestly the most effective with the fewest side effects. It would be nice to be able to obtain and smoke legally.(not that it will stop me)

Im unsure of how to go about it in the most adult and responsible manner, im 23 years old and fear i will stereotyped as someone just wanting to get high. I would have to start by talking to a doctor that i have never met, which i think may play a factor in the outcome. i just dont want to go waste my time pursuing this if theres no hope in hell. although it couldnt hurt i guess.

so i guess im just looking for advice on the situation,
there are only something like 30 people in my province that even have cards its already looking like a pipe dream.:D

you know you just need a doctor's support to obtain medical. as long as it follows the guidelines on health canada's website for its intended use. you will experience a long delay in hearing back as its done based on requirement, as in people who are terminally ill will be given first priority. you know our own government has information on their website.

read it through, there is also a few other site's talking about how to approach your doctor and how to present to them that you feel medicinal marijuana is the most effective treatment for your ailment.

thanks mike that helped for sure. it seems like my first step would be to talk to a couple doctors and see what they say and go from there. its not a huge deal to me as ive never had problems getting quality bud behind the scenes. i feel i have at least a case to present, so ill see what happens. im gonna set up appointments with 3 new doctors to start and see what they say after some adult conversation on the subject. ill report back my experiance good or bad. because even if it doesnt work out, i could at least educate myself and others that are thinking about it.

haha, no problem. let me know how it goes as this is something i have been planning on doing myself as well, hence the research from the links I have provided. I would be happy to share some experiences with you along the road however it goes.
